Our Little Turtle

We recently welcomed a new member to our family. Jackson Bradley Carter was born on August 8th. 9 lbs. 9 oz! I woke up to my water breaking at 12:45 am, 8 hours later our little boy was born. We knew our baby was probably going to be big, and I was so nervous about having a hard labor. But thanks to a short labor and an amazing epidural, it was so much better than I expected.

We love Jackson so much already. We were blessed with such a sweet baby! He is so content most of the time. He already has such a strong little head. We call him our "little turtle" because he is always stretching out his neck to turn his head and look around. These first two weeks with him have been so wonderful and we look forward to all the great times ahead.
